EmbedTech Industries is a Maine corporation formed in 2000 to address the encapsulation opportunities utlilizing the precision molding techniques developed by a sister company (CHIPCO International). A new corporation was formed to bypass the gaming regulatory requirements, gaming commission approvals, investor background investigations, and on-site facility security audits required by companies operating in, or providing supplies to the Gaming Industry.

The Intellectual Property Rights to the proprietary encapsulation process developed by CHIPCO have been transferred to EmbedTech under the terms and conditions of that transfer for all encapsulation applications outside the worldwide gaming industry (gaming applications remain the exclusive rights of CHIPCO International).

The thin film encapsulation process developed for CHIPCO's gaming chips has been modified to accommodate the successful encapsulation of the new wafer-thin RFID tags now being supplied by all chip and inlay converters. These include Inside, E.M. Marin, Intermec, Symbol, UPM Raflatac, ASK, TagSys, Texas Instruments, GEMPlus, Phillips Electronics, Hitachi, Microchip and AmaTech. These encapsulated samples have included RFID applications in the Transportation Industry, Forestry products, Medical products, Electronic components and Asset Tracking opportunities.

EmbedTech shares Research and Development resources with 2 sister companies (CHIPCO and KenTech Inc.) with combined capabilities across a wide spectrum of manufacturing technologies. These internal capabilities include injection molding, tool making, various printing and photographic technologies, die making, hot-stamping services, as well as several other computer related capabilities.

The skilled staff, and the availability of a diverse inventory of development and manufacturing technologies, allow the company to perform a wide array of tasks internally. In addition to serving our own requirements, these benefits have proven to be very valuable tools in attracting clients that need proto-type work completed in a cost-effective and timely manner.
